I’m entering my 3rd year as a Finance and Economics Specialist, I’m involved with the Rotman Commerce Toastmasters and Rotman Commerce Emerging Technologies clubs, and I play intramural basketball.

About Me
When people ask me where “home” is, I usually say Hong Kong. But if you asked me on a deeper level, here’s what I would tell you:
I was born in London, Ontario, and by the time I turned five, I had already lived in five cities. From London to Toronto, then to Yunnan (where my family is from), followed by Shenzhen, and finally to Hong Kong.
Hong Kong is where I spent my formative years. I lived there for 11 years, and it shaped much of who I am. In 2020, I moved back to Canada during the pandemic to attend boarding school in Vancouver, where I spent three years exploring the beauty of British Columbia. Now, I study Finance and Economics at the University of Toronto.
These movements throughout my life didn’t just teach me to adapt — they taught me to value people, perspectives, and the power of community.
My experiences across cultures and communities have shaped a belief I hold strongly: everyone brings something unique to the table. I think of it this way — we all have the same 24 hours in a day, but we each spend them differently. That means everyone is an expert in something I haven’t yet explored.
This mindset informs how I approach teamwork, leadership, and learning in every space I enter.
Hopefully this gives you an idea of who I am. I hope to use this website to share more of my projects, learnings, and perspectives with you.

My Current Involvments

Outside of the classroom, I stay actively involved in communities that push me to grow as a communicator, collaborator, and critical thinker. Here are the clubs and activities I am involved with.
KIVA Club
I founded the KIVA Club at my high school in Hong Kong, inspired by a passion for financial inclusion. KIVA is a nonprofit platform that enables people to make microloans to entrepreneurs in developing countries. Through our club’s efforts, we funded over $37,000 in lifetime loans, positively impacting 722 individuals and their communities.
